Ausnahmsweise* an dieser Stelle ein neuer, umfangreicher Beitrag von Adam Michaelis, den ich im letzten Blogeintrag bereits angekündigt hatte. Es geht Michaelis um eine Übersicht über die Trends innerhalb der anthroposophischen Szene, die er anhand des Buches von Jesajah Ben-Aharon, Spiritual Science in the 21st Century, ausarbeitet. Auf der einen Seite steht die interne Entwicklung im Goetheanum selbst: "Ben-Aharon analyzes the actual fate of the AAG as a lack of any organic and real dynamic between the center and periphery, which contrary to the intentions of Rudolf Steiner and Michael’s original plan A resulted in the rigid and conservative structure of centralized and institutionalized Anthroposophy, primarily embodied by the Goetheanum."
Nach Ben-Aharon - und diese Sicht teilt Michaelis- hat die organisierte Anthroposophie die Schrecken, aber auch die Chancen des 20. Jahrhunderts, meist gebunden durch interne Auseinandersetzungen, durch spirituelle und existentielle Defizite bedingt, weitgehend verschlafen: "What was the actual spiritual and existential deficit in the development of this organism? The AAG was on every level unable to guide people and society through the crossing of the threshold to the spiritual world in spite of the repeated spiritual impulses from the Time Spirit during this century, particularly in connection with the activation of the world’s youth in the sixties and seventies, where the far more up-to-date New Age movement overtook the one body invested with a real Western esoteric knowledge on the inside. Also the etheric Christ was not recognized consciously in 1933 and onwards, and hence the evil in oneself was not confronted “in the real time of its historical emergence”. (p. 77) And this was the basic criterion for any real spiritual development and initiation."
Als Folge dieses geistige Vakuums entstanden und entstehen weiterhin fragmentarisch Bewegungen in den Randbereichen der Gesellschaft, die eine Tendenz haben, zentrale und dominante Stellungen einzunehmen, also das Zentrum zu füllen. Die anthroposophische Bewegung "operates only from a scattered periphery without a center, mobilizing individual people and small groups here. This means that there is no adequate or real Michaelic impulse originating from the cemented body or center of the AAG during the 20th century or even today."
Als ein Beispiel für eine solche Bewegung heute sieht Michaelis die Gruppierung um Judith von Halle: "In several of our critical papers on Judith von Halle we have analyzed her nostalgic and regressive spirituality, obsessing with the outdated ritualism and esoterism of past Dornach times. Whereas the Goetheanum corpse of a Sergej Prokofieff preserved the recognizable and formal identity of what was once supposed to be, but never were, as a museum piece, the fantasy-animated Goetheanum corpse of a Judith von Halle will soon be decorated and transformed into an unrecognizable theatre."
Auch Michaelis geht in diesem Zusammenhang auf Teresa Gahart ein, wobei sowohl die eine wie die andere Erscheinung für ihn nur "all this esoteric fuss" darstellen. All diese Gestalten, das ganze Theater und die Positionierungen lenken nur von dem ab, worum es primär gehen müsste: Um "self-knowledge"- um einen Umgang mit den eigenen Konditionierungen: "First and foremost it is an inner recognition of the multiple composition of the human make-up and a very clear understanding of how the Luciferic and Ahrimanic double are working in the inner formation of identity and in all our faculties – in the thinking, feeling and will. If you get that point – or better – get to that point, then you know exactly what is uninteresting and interesting about this whole matter." Nur durch eine solche Selbstkenntnis vertiefter Art können wir Maßstäbe für innere Qualität entwickeln- für eine individuelle Grundlage dafür, uns nicht in Illusionäres, in Projektionen und unerfüllte Sehnsüchte zu verlieren: "“How do we know if Anthroposophical study and meditation are real events and not just self-reflecting, inflating, subjective illusions and dreams? Only if they take us out of ourselves entirely, if they truly plunge us into the altogether different, non-personal, non-subjective, spiritual reality of the Event.” (Ben-Aharon)" Das Schockierende einer tatsächlichen Selbstkonfrontation, das Anschauen der tatsächlichen inneren Strukturen, Getriebenheit, des immanenten Selbstbetrugs, wird durch bloßes Konsumieren von "esoterischen Inhalten" oder durch bloßen Glauben an anthroposophische Gurus unterlaufen: "Based on personal and objective experience we can tell you this: If you should ever cross the threshold for real and meet the real other or an actual spiritual power that operates in truth, then you will be contradicted to the very depth of your illusive identity. You will indeed be personally shocked and crushed! If you have ever been there, you will know for sure. And when you have gone through this basic ego cure, then you see clearly what a mixed character you are, and what shadow you cast. None of your cozy, flattering and conventional ideas about yourself are intact afterwards."
Wir leben aber in einer Zeit, in der Virtualisierung, Nonsense, Ablenkungen zu einem immer dominanteren Teil der inneren und äußeren Wirklichkeit werden: "Instead of the realization of a true Michaelic spiritual impulse through the 20th century, we have seen the very opposite evil development through Luciferic spirituality and culture, Ahrimanic technology and politics, and Asuric individuation and socialization... The evil powers work effectively inside the human energetic make-up and everywhere in our physical surroundings – tuning the Luciferic and Ahrimanic double and taking control of the formation of identity, thinking, feeling and action. Machines, consciousness and identity are rapidly fusing together." Es ist tatsächlich ein ganz falscher Augenblick, sich mit esoterischem Hokuspokus solcher Randbewegungen wie den genannten zu beschäftigen oder ihnen gar zu folgen. So appelliert Michaelis an die Leser: "The attempt by the Luciferic and Asuric powers to divert the modern Michaelic impulse into an agency for time travel and free fantasy in Dornach, should it succeed, would be a waste of precious spiritual resources, and we have written these papers in order to make some people realize that their understandable reaction to the blind alley of dogmatic Anthroposophy is misguided when turned into support for the backwater trend of a Judith von Halle, Teresa Gahard and their likes. You just replace one illusion and projection with another."
